Ministry of Defense submitted response to the claim
11:13, March 4, 2017 | News, Own news | Rights of Soldiers/Recruits | Armed ForcesToday, the RA Administrative Court held the 1st hearing on HCA Vanadzor’s claim on compelling the RA Ministry of Defense to provide information.
Note that by its letter of October 12, 2016, the Organization demanded a copy of the of the guide on the characteristics of military service restrictions, permissible physical exercises and restrictions on appointment to military service positions approved by the Decree of the Head of RA General Headquarters of Armed Forces on January 15, 2014. However, the Defense Ministry qualified it as state secret revealing the organizational structure of the RA armed forces and refused to provide information.
At the court hearing, it became clear that the plaintiff party had not received the defendant party’s response to the claim yet. And the court hearing was postponed, so that HCA Vanadzor representative S. Soghomonyan, lawyer at the Organization, had time to get familiar with the response to the claim.
The next court hearing is scheduled for May 12, 2017, 12 pm.
