“I’m also against giving these authorities even a single eurocent; all the same it will fall into the jaws of corruption and become useless dust”
19:56, November 3, 2016 | NewsWhy are the anti-Europeans silent? Come on, do whisper a single word and struggle desperately overwhelmed with the idea of “maintaining the national cleanness and purity”, hold protests and pickets in front of B26 and the Government, demand that they reject “western grants”! Won’t the country ruin with 9 bln AMD???
I must say I’m also against giving these authorities even a single eurocent; all the same it will fall into the jaws of corruption and become useless dust.
Only after they adopt an adequate Action Plan for the Human Rights Strategy so necessary for RA to become a legal and democratic state and carry it out effectively by adopting laws on anti-discrimination, domestic violence, gender equality, etc., combat corruption effectively and abolish impunity, may the funds be allocated in parts to the extent of the performance.
Otherwise, why should they help, all the same we remain in the Eurasian dustbin.
Or “are “your feelings sensitive for the national interests” held back by the expectation for your share from the corruption leftovers?

Armenia to receive a grant of 9.1 bln AMD from EU next year
In 2017, Armenia will receive from European Union an official grant of 9.1 bln AMD. Atom Janjughazyan, RA First Deputy Minister of Finance, stated this during the discussion of the 2016 RA state budget at the National Assembly. “The official grants are not intended for target projects. In 2016, Armenia received from European Union an official grant of 12.6 bln AMD”, Janjughazyan said as reported by ‘Armenpress’.
He added that in 2017 Armenia would receive from European Union a grant of 9.7 bln AMD for target projects. Janjughazyan emphasized that Armenia would receive those amounts both from the European Commission and other European structures.
In 2017, Armenia will receive from EU loan funds of 4.3 bln AMD.
