‘Vanadzor Legal Clinic-2016’ launched

The theoretical stage of ‘Vanadzor Legal Clinic-2016’ Project has been already completed; under the Project, students were trained in human rights and their protection mechanisms; at the 2nd stage, the participants apply their knowledge in practice by taking an active part in the activities of the Legal Department of HCA Vanadzor.
Along with the start of a next-in-turn stage of the Project, the participants of ‘Vanadzor Legal Clinic-3’ Project received graduate certificates; on November 21, 2015, they had an opportunity to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge they gained also in a moot court held under the Project for the 1st time.
Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor has implemented ‘Vanadzor Legal Clinic’ Project starting from 2013. 68 law students from various higher educational institutions of Vanadzor were and are trained under the Project.
The graduates are involved in short-term projects carried out by the Organization and act as observers.
In March 2016, human rights trainings were held in 7 educational institutions of Vanadzor under a mini-grant project implemented by several graduates of the Project.
4 graduates of ‘Vanadzor Legal Clinic’ Project apply successfully in their professional activities the knowledge and skills gained under the Project.
