Serviceman Albert Dallakyan was wounded by a firearm shooting

According to the data provided by Armine Ghazaryan, mother of A. Dallakyan, on June 24, 2016, he was on combat duty (his combat duty was to end on July 1) and at about 7 pm, handed over the position to another serviceman. According to the information provided by the serviceman’s family, after the end of the combat duty, Commander Avag Nahapetyan, the Senior at the position, wounded Albert Dallakyan due to either negligent handling of the weapon or by deliberate shooting. On June 27, 2016, A. Dallakyan underwent a surgery at the Military Hospital in Stepanakert and was then transferred to the Central Clinical Military Hospital (Muratsan) in Yerevan and is currently in the intensive care unit of the Hospital.
Albert Dallakyan’s family and particularly his mother, are not aware of whether any criminal proceedings were initiated, or whether any persons were arrested or detained.
