Press Release on 10th court hearing of Avetisyans family murder case
19:15, March 23, 2016 | Press Release | Avetisyan familyOn March 18, 2016, the General Jurisdiction Court of Shirak Marz (Region) held the 10th outgoing hearing on Avetisyans family murder case on the territory of the Russian military base № 102.
At the hearing, the Court resumed the stage of evidence examination and examined volumes 5-9 under it.
The expert opinion was announced; accordingly, V. Permyakov’s and his fellow servicemen’s urine and blood contained neither alcohol nor any psychotropic substance.
At the stage of evidence examination, a reference was also made to the small house adjacent to the pumping station on the Armenian-Turkish border, where according to the preliminary version, V. Permyakov had hidden himself.
While according to V. Permyakov’s testimony, he stayed in the small house adjacent to the pumping station for 10-21 hours, none of his traces were found there; whereas he spent only 15 minutes at Avetisyans’ apartment and managed to leave remains of cigarettes there.
The ballistic forensic examination opinion was also announced; accordingly, the muzzle of the submachine gun contained shot products, but it was impossible to establish when the shot was taken due to the lack of a relevant well-grounded scientific methodology.
The next outgoing hearing of the General Jurisdiction Court of Shirak Marz (Region) is scheduled for March 25, 2016, at 12 pm.
