What problems do conscripts raise before HCA Vanadzor

During the summer call-up of 2016, 10 conscripts consulted the Organization on the protection of their rights. Each of the 10 conscripts above has health problems preventing them from doing their military service properly.
The medical records of each of the conscripts above were examined in terms of their health problems and the expert physician of the Organization drafted relevant opinions. 7 of the conscripts were provided only verbal advice since some supplementary documents had to be obtained, and as for the other 3 conscripts, relevant letters were drafted on their health problems based on the medical opinion and were addressed to the RA Ministry of Defense.
The solution to the problems of all the conscripts is still in progress.
According to the RA President’s Decree, the summer call-up is intended for May-July.
Apart from health problems, one of the conscripts who consulted the Organization, faced issues related to proper exercise of his studies.
During both the winter call-up of 2015, and the summer call-up of 2016, based on a notification from the military registration and enlistment office, the conscript was not allowed to continue his studies at a higher education institution; however, based on the arguments of HCA Vanadzor, by which the Organization substantiated that the ban by the letter of the military registration and enlistment office imposed on the conscript on continuing his studies was unlawful and did not derive from the RA Constitution and other legal norms and the conscript’s right to vocational education was violated unlawfully in this case, the conscript was allowed to take examinations.
To protect the rights of conscripts, during the summer call-up of 2016 HCA Vanadzor carries on providing legal assistance to conscripts and their families, namely providing legal advice, drafting required documents and making inquiries.
All the conscripts who disagree with their health examination results, can apply to HCA Vanadzor.
It should be reminded that everyone has the right to get their health examination acts and all the necessary medical documents as enshrined in Article 7 of the RA Law on Medical Assistance and Service to the Population.
