Mikayel Danielyan, a well-known human rights activist and the Founder and Chairman of Helsinki Association of Armenia, passed away untimely.
By devoting the greatest part of his life to human rights activism, Mikayel/Mika/ Danielyan always took on protection of vulnerable groups firmly sticking to his principles of equality and diversity.
His role in developing the human rights principles and civil society in Armenia is invaluable.
We extend our sincere condolences to M. Danielyan’s family, friends and colleagues.
