Doctor convicted of the death of 4-year-old Karine from Armavir fully pleads guilty and is ready to provide material compensation

The successor of 4-year-old Karine Hovhannisyan who died at ‘Armavir’ Medical Center in 2015, and his representative Ani Chatinyan, lawyer at HCA Vanadzor, demand material compensation from doctor A. Petrosyan who caused the child’s death.
Overall, Karine Hovhannisyan’s successor demands a compensation of 2.000,000 AMD.
Note that on June 2, 2016 the General Jurisdiction Court of Armavir Marz (region), RA, sentenced A. Petrosyan for providing inadequate medical care to 3 years’ imprisonment by depriving her of the right to hold certain positions for a period of 1 year and 6 months.
At the court hearing held at the General Jurisdiction Court of Armavir Marz on September 5, 2017, the plaintiff’s representative Ani Chatinyan presented the grounds and substance of the claim.
Despite the fact that defendant A. Petrosyan currently serves her sentence out of penitentiary facilities, she did not attend the hearing.
A. Petrosyan’s representative stated at the court hearing that the claim was to be granted to the extent considered reasonable by the Court. Then he added that the defendant party had no objections to the fact of guilt.
The next court hearing will be held on October 26, 2017, at 4:40 pm.
