“Our diplomacy should carry out intensive and multilateral work; we should be informed of what they are doing and what initiatives are undertaken by which agency… Obviously, peace cannot be secured by military means only. The maintenance of the ceasefire is not just a military issue but mostly a diplomatic one… More and more casualties and heightened military tensions will make it more and more difficult to maintain the ceasefire … The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs should immediately pursue a proactive policy in this direction … It should concern only steps aiming to restore the ceasefire, maintain the ceasefire and introduce mechanisms to monitor the facts of ceasefire violations … “, posted Artur Sakunts, Chairman of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor, on his Facebook account.
