“Government’s Order”
00:00, January 11, 2011 | AnnouncementsToday Helsinki Association for Human Rights and Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly -Vanadzor came up with the following announcement.
“On January 10, 2010, advocate Artak Zeinalyan’s office was found out to be attacked”. It’s been the second attack of the advocate’s office within the last two months. At this point no lost items have been identified by the advocate. At the previous attack, unknown individuals had gotten into the office, had broken open the document drawer, taken the computer monitor and the decoding device of satellite channels. However, the “thieves” hadn’t taken money from the office. A criminal case has been brought up. We are sure that the previous case has not been identified because of the police inactivity and we feel certain that this one also will not be identified.
We announce that the above-mentioned attacks are ordered by the government which are targeted against his juridical right protective activities. Artak Zeinalyan is the coordinator of “Lawyers against Violations” NGO. He is also the representative of assignees litigating Special Investigation Service for inactivity in regard to “March 1 ” case as well as the legal representative of victim’s successor regarding the case of Vahan Khalafyan’s murder in the Charentsavan police station on April 13, 2010. Artak Zeinalyan has presented a number of cases in the European Court of Human Rights including “Melteks” LLC and M. Movsesyan versus RA and the case on “A1+” TV Company”,- is stated in the announcement.
