On April 10, 2017, the RA Administrative Court, presided by judge K. Avetisyan, announced the judgment resulted from the examination of the claim of missing person’s mother Svetlana Sargsyan and her representative T. Siradeghyan, lawyer at Yerevan Office of HCA Vanadzor, against the RA Ministry of Defense.
The Court annulled the RA Defense Ministry’s decision on terminating S. Sargsyan’s right to pension, found unlawful the action of not passing S. Sargsyan’s pension documents to the Social Security State Service of the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and compelled the RA Defense Ministry to pass them.
The claim was suspended on the part of declaring invalid the decision on terminating payment of S. Sargsyan’s pension.
Note that HCA Vanadzor took on protection of S. Sargsyan’s rights as early as last year and the first court hearing on the claim to restore S. Sargsyan’s right to pension based on the loss of breadwinner was held on March 29, 2016.
