Advocates of former captive Artur Badalyan will be appealing to the European court

According to the advocate, Badalyan’s appeal will be sent to the ECHR in the nearest future.
Resident of Haghartsin village of Tavush region Artur Badalyan got lost in the woods and was captured by the Azerbaijani side on May 9, 2009.
Only in year and a half, on November 8, 2010, the Azerbaijani side confirmed the fact of his captivity, while previously kept denying the information of his presence on the territory of Azerbaijan.
Badalyan was returned home on March 17 this year. “Populex” Advocate’s office in Vanadzor will be applying to the European Court of Human Rights. According to the advocates, the verdict over this case can serve a prototype for other cases.
