Alert: Employees of Armavir Penitentiary Institution refused to send the convict’s letters to the RA Prime Minister and the Minister of Justice

On May 15, 2018, Armen Shamiryan, who is a convict at Armavir Penitentiary Institution, alerted Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor again.
He mentioned in a phone call that on the same day, on May 15, he handed letters to the administrative staff of the penitentiary institution to send them to the addressees, namely the Prime Minister and the Minister of Justice of the RA.
However, the employees of the penitentiary institution refused to take the letters.
On May 16, 2018 Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor applied to RA Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan in connection to assigning a command investigation on the basis of the information reported by Armen Shamiryan.
