Former SSC employees still work at the RA NSS, and the NSS structure is a state secret. the NSS responds to the inquiry by HCA Vanadzor
18:13, January 11, 2018 | News, Own news | Freedom of Information and SpeechOn December 29, 2017 Head of the RA National Security Service Agency A. Avetisyan responded to HCA Vanadzor’s inquiry of December 21.
With the inquiry addressed to the National Security Service, HCA Vanadzor had requested information on the structure of the RA National Security Service and the number of the former SSC employeed working at the NSS as well as the pensions granted to them.
In a response letter, the Head of the NSS Agency informed that since 1992 288 former employees of the SSC have continued working at the NSS until retiring. Currently 60 former SSC employees keep working at the RA National Security Service.
In regard to the pension size of the former SSC employees, A. Avetisyan mentioned that the size of both their as well as the other RA NSS employees’ pension is defined in accordance with the provisions of the RA Law on State Pensions.
However, Head of the NSS Agency A. Avetisyan considered the information on the NSS structure a state secret and refused to provide it.
HCA Vanadzor will turn to court with the claim to receive the information that was not provided.
