HCA Vanadzor demands quashing of the inquiry rejection by the Internal Security Department of the RA Police and obligating the latter to provide the information requested by the inquiry as well as subjecting A. Hakobyan, Chief of Internal Security Department of the RA Police, to administrative liability.
On September 27, 2012 , Artur Sakunts, Chairman of “Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor” NGO, submitted an information inquiry to the Internal Security Department of the RA Police requesting provision of materials on service investigation conducted by the Internal Security Department of the RA Police.
On October 5, 2012, a response inquiry was received from the Chief of Internal Security Department of the RA Police, whereby, provision of requested information was declined based on the grounds that service investigation materials were confidential documents designated for internal use only.
