New evidence to be submitted under Gayane Arustamyan’s case

On June 21, 2016, the RA Administrative Court, presided by judge H. Ayvazyan, resumed the trial examination of the administrative case under a claim by the RA Police against Gayane Arustamyan to bring her to administrative liability and the counter-claim by Gayane Arustamyan against the RA Police to declare the RA Police actions unlawful.
Note that the previous court hearing was adjourned for the Court to consider the motions of G. Arustamyan’s representative on suspending the proceedings and applying to the RA Constitutional Court or discontinuing the case.
The court hearing was attended by Sona Melikyan, representative of plaintiff and counter-defendant RA Police, and Tatevik Siradeghyan, representative of defendant and counter-plaintiff G. Arustamyan and lawyer at Yerevan Office of HCA Vanadzor.
Having considered separately the motions of G. Arustamyan’s representative, the Court found that there were no grounds to grant them and ruled to dismiss them.
Then the Court passed to the stage of examination of the evidence under the case; at this stage, the evidence provided by both the plaintiff, and the counter-plaintiff party were examined; the required sections of such evidence were disclosed at the request of the parties.
The representative of defendant and counter-plaintiff G. Arustamyan submitted to the Court supplementary evidence, which included among others the letter sent by ‘Ambulance’ CJSC in response to her application by identifying the time when the ambulance crew arrived at the police station. Meanwhile, T. Siradeghyan submitted to the Court the evidence that G. Arustamyan was unemployed and had never been subjected to administrative sanctions by the RA Administrative Court. The Court found it necessary that evidence on Gayane Arustamyan’s property status were submitted to state that she was not considered a tax payer. G. Arustamyan’s representative requested the Court to grant her an opportunity to submit such evidence.
Hence, the Court ruled to adjourn the hearing till July 14, 2016, 2:30 pm.
