The Conscription and Military Service Legislation was presented to the relatives of the conscripts and servicemen at Vanadzor Shogh Daycare Center

On 24 October, 2017, HCA Vanadzor Office Peace-building Program Coordinator Armine Sadikyan had a meeting with parents of beneficiaries on the rights of conscripts and servicemen at the invitation of Vanadzor Shogh Daycare Center.
A. Sadikyan presented to the participants the regulations of the preparation for and the implementation of conscription, the rights and obligations of the conscripts, the legal provisions related to military service, the standards of qualifying as fit for military service, the types of military service and the rights and obligations of the servicemen during military service.
She also touched upon the amendments to the Law on Conscription and Military Service suggested by the bill.
Throughout the meeting specific cases were discussed, which the participants were consulted on. The participants were also interested in clarifications regarding the health issues of conscripts and serving in the military despite existing health problems.
HCA Vanadzor Office is willing to conduct similar trainings in other places as well if offered.
