“Heritage” Party is alarmed. Do the Armenian police deal with politics?

Today “Heritage” party central office received “red flags” from Taline regional division that the local police demand that principals of the schools should present lists with the names of the schoolteachers and their membership to political parties.
Heritage MPs tried to contact the Police Chief Gevorg Poghosyan or deputy head of the Taline Police for explanations. However, none of them was available until 15:00 pm. According to the local police shift representative, they were out of the office.
“Heritage” party will consistently follow the case and reveal the causes for such illegal activities as well as disclose the perpetrators. Upon receiving additional information, News.am will disseminate more details over the case to mass media.
