Plain-clothes police officers chase citizens
15:21, July 20, 2016 | News, Own newsToday, on July 20, civil activists Razmik Evoyan, representative of the Founding Parliament, and Gevorg Kotanjyan, representative of the Heritage (‘Zharangutyun’) Party alerted HCA Vanadzor that the participants of the public discussion in Hayk Square in Vanadzor on July 19 were chased by plain-clothes police officers.
According to the representative of the Founding Parliament, the police chase particularly the persons who were apprehended on Sunday, i.e. on July 17, to Bazum Police Division of Vanadzor.
Note that the persons apprehended to the police division were detained there for hours and released only after midnight, at about 2 or 3 am.

As for Gevorg Kotanjyan, he has been chased since Sunday. Today, he said that he had been chased from his place to HCA Vanadzor officer by plain-clothes police officers, first by car and then on foot. The activist also fixed the car chasing him, a blue Opel with state license plate 34 vn 930. He also expressed his concern that the persons chasing him might harm him.
