Artak Zakaryan desires that the RA has its place and role within the frames of the Customs Union

In response to the inquiry sent by Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor, Artak Zakaryan writes,
“I am informing you that by taking into account the urgent need to resolve already existing issues and various possible ones in the future, yes, I think it would be most desired so that the Republic of Armenia has its place and role in the frames of the Customs Union. In the meantime, I find the processes of EU Association crucially important and I believe that we must have our active participation and long-lasting partnership with the European Union and its member states with bilateral and comprehensive formats. In my estimation, these approaches are well justified and are based on the interests of our country”.
