NA Deputy Martun Grigoryan has not yet expressed his disposition regarding RA’s membership to the Customs Union
06:32, October 15, 2013 | NewsThe RA NA deputy of “Prosperous Armenia” faction, Chairman of Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment, who was the deputy chairman of Standing Committee on European Integration throughout 22.06.2012-22.10.2012, writes regarding RA’s membership to the Customs Union:
“Dear Mr. Sakunts, the statement over RA’s membership to the Customs Union is disseminated in the press currently, while the media outlets make references to the Russian officials, informing that the membership will be launched not earlier than May. Prior to that, as already known, the NA will discuss 50 draft laws which aim at the comparison of legislations and perhaps their identification. It is not known until present what we, the RA citizens, will win or lose, what the RA’s economy will gain and what drafts are meant. Naturally, at least the approximate contents of the agreement are also unknown. Having the current situation, it is, I think, quite early to express an opinion or disposition regarding Armenia’s membership to the Customs Union. As soon as there is the agreement, we will express our opinion and disposition.”
