Within the criminal case, to find out whether the police officers who exerted violence against the electricity rate hike protesters on Baghramyan Avenue, c. Yerevan on June 23, 2015 and the police officers on duty on that day had taken any drugs, on July 10, 2015, the Organization filed a motion to assign an expert examination to find out whether there were any drugs or psychotropic substances in the bodies of the police officers on duty on the day above. Upon considering the motion, on July 16, 2015, the investigative agency decreed to dismiss it on the pretext that no data had been obtained within the criminal case for the assumptions on the possible use of drugs or any psychotropic substances by the police officers, and therefore, the motion was unfounded.
