Tbilisi hosted a workshop/training on coalitional observation of electoral processes
18:23, January 14, 2015 | News, Own news | Electoral RightsWithin the European Platform for Democratic Elections (EPDE), the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED, Georgia), with the support of the European Union and the Council of Europe, held a workshop/training in Tbilisi on December 16-18, 2014 aimed at developing the coalitional observation mission capacity for the EPDE founding member, Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor and partner organizations. The training was also attended by representatives of Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center, Europe in Law Association NGO and Asparez Journalists’ Club.
The training was facilitated by the Roman Udot, expert at the Russian Golos Association, EPDE founding member, and Nutsi Odisharia, Project Coordinator at ISFED Organization. In course of the training, the participants discussed the specifics and benefits of coalition building.
Expert Roman Udot introduced the principles of coalition cooperation, channels and structure of internal communication.
During the practical activities, the partners identified the key election challenges in the RA and outlined the mission and goals of the coalition.
