The Court of Appeal is to pass a decision on Gayane Arustamyan’s case on April 18
18:11, April 1, 2018 | News, Own news | Gayane ArustamyanOn March 29, 2018 the appeal lodged by Gayane Arustamyan’s representative Tatevik Siradeghyan, lawyer at HCA Vanadzor’s representative office in Yerevan, was examined at the RA Administrative Court of Appeal.
She requested to annul the decision issued by the Administrative Court of the RA on March 14, 2017. Through that decision, the court upheld the claim submitted by the RA Police and subjected G. Arustamyan to administrative liability in the amount of 300,000 AMD. The counterclaim submitted by Gayane Arustamyan and her representative was rejected.
The court presented the grounds and arguments supporting the appeal on subjecting G. Arustamyan to administrative liability unlawfully and rejecting the counterclaim groundlessly. According to the responding party, the court violated the provisions of the RA Constitution, the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the RA Administrative Procedure Code and thus violated the norms of the substantive and procedural laws, which affected the outcome of the case.
RA Police representative S. Melikyan objected to the appeal and considered the decision passed by the lower-instance court as substantiated.
After addressing questions to the parties, the court concluded the examination of the case and scheduled the delivery of the decision for April 18, 2018.
