The traffic police officers who did not provide a copy of a driving license have not been held liable on the pretext of being prosecuted by the Compulsory Enforcement Service
18:49, December 27, 2017 | News, Own news | PoliceIt has already been informed that at the RA Traffic Police Records and Examinations Division Vanadzor resident Seyran Babayan was rejected the provision of a copy of a driving license on the pretext of being prosecuted by the Compulsory Enforcement Service.
The issue was solved on the basis of the application of HCA Vanadzor. However, the Organization was not provided a written response on providing a copy of a driving license and holding those traffic police officers liable.
On November 9, 2017 HCA Vanadzor turned to Yegor Karapetyan, RA Traffic Police Chief, with regard to meeting the demands in the aforementioned application.
In his response of November 28, he informed that, based on the application by HCA Vanadzor, S. Babayan was provided the copy of the driving license. As regards holding the traffic police officers liable, the Chief of the RA Traffic Police mentioned that, “The staff of the RA Traffic Police Records and Examinations Division of Vanadzor were once again instructed to strictly adhere to and fulfill the fuctions reserved to them under the legislative acts.”
As appears from Y. Karapetyan’s response, there is no mention of holding liable the employees that committed the violation, while HCA Vanadzor demanded to hold them liable in the application to both the Chief of the Records and Examinations Division of Vanadzor and the Chief of the RA Traffic Police.
HCA Vanadzor will turn to Chief of the RA Police Vl. Gasparyan with the same demand.
