Examination of October 27 case to be continued
16:49, February 9, 2016 | News, Own news | General Prosecutor's Office of ArmeniaOn January 11, 2016, www.1in.am website published the interview of Aram Sargsyan /patronymic: Zaven/, leader of Hanrapetutyun Party, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia where he particularly noted, “….I wished to understand where the causes of blood shed on October 27 came from, from the outside or inside? As Serzh Sargsyan confessed to me that it was all organized and that one day he would tell me who organized it all, let him say, I’m waiting for his answer.”
By saying so, A. Sargsyan stated publicly that RA President Serzh Sargsyan possessed valuable information about the crime of October 27, 1999. This provides ground to believe that all the necessary actions needed for the solution of the case were not taken, and the situation called for questioning RA President Serzh Sargsyan.
On February 9, 2016, Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor submitted a letter electronically and by post to the RA Prosecutor General G. Kostanyan requiring him to give a legal assessment to information covered in the publication, question Serzh Sargsyan on that information and question former RA Prime Minister Aram Z. Sargsyan.
