On February 17 of 2011, Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor initiated a claim to the RA General Prosecutor’s office and RA Special Investigation Service regarding the illegal restrictions of citizens’ rights to freedom of movement and freedom to assemblies, rallies, marches and demonstrations by the police officials on February 15-17 of 2011.
The organization has presented relevant facts and proofs over the Police activities and has made a reference to the provisions of the RA legislation, according to which, the police activities were of illegitimate and illegal nature.
