The Azeri Hacked the Web-site of HCA Vanadzor
00:00, February 26, 2007 | Press ReleaseThey wrote instead – by Azeri hackers and placed 333 Azeri names and surnames, who were the victims of Khojalu incident and then added in Russian “February 26, Khojalu is our pain and memory.”
The hackers placed the web address of the independent public-political newspaper “Nash Vek” /”Our Century”/ on the first page of the web-site of HCA Vanadzor.
Today this Azeri newspaper referred to the Khojalu incidents, it noted that the bill on Khojalu incidents is in the Parliament of Turkey and that the world must know about Khojalu, that Khojalu is the repetition of the incidents of 1918 when “the Armenian force entered Azerbaijan with the 366th regiment and killed the civilians.” “The tragedy of Khojalu is the continuation of the policy of the genocide of Armenian nationalists”-it is written in the newspaper “Nash Vek” /“Our Century”/. The web-site of HCA Vanadzor is also about peace-building directed to the peaceful regulation of the Armenian-Azeri conflict. The coordinator of HCA Vanadzor qualifies such attitude as an infringement towards peace-building and human rights protection.
“Of course, mass extermination of civilians cannot have any justification and it is blameworthy as a crime. At the same time the crimes against the civilians in Sumgait, Baku, Kirovabad, Shahumyan region (during the military actions and before that) should also be taken into consideration as a serious consequence of the conflict. Separating victims according to ethnic or religious background, residency, is a criminal attitude itself, which is not within the frames of peace-building and human rights protection.” A. Sakunts thinks that such behavior, when conflicts are moved into a cyber environment confirms that in our societies the intentions of opponents of peaceful regulation of the conflict are not overcome yet. “Terrible! The conflict was replaced to a cyber environment”-says Arthur Sakunts.
