Artur Sakunts regarding burning of Zaruhi Postanjyan on fire and suing her

To the question of Aravot.am whether the “Republican” party will lodge a claim against Zaruhi Postanjyan for posing a question to the RA president regarding losing money in a casino in the PACE, Chairman of HCA Vanadzor Artur Sakunts replies as follows: “I will welcome the effort of the “Republican” party to resolve the issues in judicial and not legal methods”.
It is noteworthy that Chairman of the Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan had expressed an opinion saying, “The “Republican” party had better sue Zaruhi Postanjyan and claim credit for the President”.
Continuing his thought Mr. Sakunts noted, “A culture to resolve the issues not through violence and murder but at legal level should be formed in the RA”. To our question whether Zaruhi Postanjyan made an unlawful step, he replied, “In my opinion, Zaruhi exercised her right to express an opinion and pose a question as a political figure. If they find there is a degrading treatment in expressing an opinion and asking a question, then it is also their right to start disputing it in judicial proceedings. I welcome the fact that issues get resolved at courts and not in the streets in the form of violence and calls, as the “Republican” party representative made a statement on burning on fire. A expect that the “Republican” party will at least give assessment for such a shameful statement made by its representative.”
It is worth noting that Chairman of “Armenian eagles” organization Khachik Asryan expressed such an opinion regarding “Heritage” faction MP Zaruhi Postanjyan, “The same Zaruhi Postanjyan should be burned on fire alive and not as Joan of Arc but as Ramil Safarov”.
