17:31, December 1, 2015 | News, Own newsA while ago, HCA Vanadzor received an alert that today, on December 1, the people leaving for Yerevan from Vanadzor to attend the rally in Liberty Square, reached halfway as according to them, drivers of 2 out of the 3 vehicles transferring them were prohibited from leaving Vanadzor and driving to Yerevan and faced threats of having their licenses revoked. Note that upon seeing what was going on, the driver of one of the 3 vehicles refused to drive further. Later, we learned that first the drivers were offered twice as much an amount as their fee not to transfer the rally participants. And only after their negative answers, the drivers faced threats of having their driving licenses revoked. We also learnt that the free buses provided earlier by representatives of New Armenia (Nor Hayastan) Movement also faced artificial barriers on Vanadzor-Yerevan highway and were obstructed form moving for about an hour.
