HCA Vanadzor required that competent agencies assessed actions of Manvel Grigoryan and Shushan Petrosyan

Today, on January 13, 2016, Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor filed by post an application with the Ethics Committee of the RA National Assembly requiring to declare that RPA faction deputy Shushan Petrosyan had violated the ethics norms under the Law on RA National Assembly Regulations and particularly to rule on the calls of violence and threats and insulting remarks to Facebook user Gayane Shahinyan.
Note that the threats above uttered by the deputy were covered in a media report entitled “Hey, you, brat, I’ll scratch your eyes out!” posted on www.armtimes.com news website on January 11, 2016.
On the same day, www.hraparak.am news website published a media report entitled “Former mayor of Ejmiatsin confirmed the incident with involvement of General Manvel” giving the account of how on December 29, 2015, Hrachik Abgaryan, former mayor of Ejmiatsin, suffered beating by order of General Manvel Grigoryan, RA National Assembly deputy.
A similar story was also published on tert.am news website.
On January 13, 2016, HCA Vanadzor filed by post a crime report on the incident with the RA Prosecutor General’s Office requiring that the latter initiated criminal proceedings and held liable the persons responsible for the crime.
