Date scheduled for announcement of judgment on Avan Mental Health Center CJSC v. HCA Vanadzor and Zh. Amarikyan
19:31, May 20, 2016 | News, Own news | Zhuleta AmarikyanAs already reported, the date for announcement of the judgment on Avan Mental Health Center CJSC v. HCA Vanadzor and Zh. Amarikyan was scheduled on April 28, 2016; however, later, the Court ruled to recommence the trial examination of the case.
On May 19, 2016, the General Jurisdiction Court of Lori Marz (Region), presided by judge V. Hovnanyan, resumed trial examination of the case. The plaintiff party did not attend the court hearing. The defendant party, represented by attorney A. Zalyan, HCA Vanadzor lawyer, did not object to holding the court hearing in the absence of the plaintiff.
The Court stated that the reason for recommencing the trial examination was the expiry of the power of attorney of E. Bademyan, representative of the plaintiff party; particularly, the Court mentioned that his power of attorney was already expired during the previous court hearing.
In response to the Court’s question, defendant’s representative A. Zalyan stated that there was no need to retake all the procedural actions taken after the expiry of the power of attorney of the plaintiff’s representative since the other representatives of the plaintiff organization as well participated in all the procedural actions, which came to prove that E. Bademyan also acted on behalf of the plaintiff organization. The Court ruled not to retake the procedural actions above and considered the trial examination of the case completed.
The Court judgment will be announced on May 30, 2016, at 5 pm.
