Whereabouts of Al. Tsverianov who suffered torture at police station are unknown

Tsverianov apprehended to Yerevan City Erebuni Division of RA Police on November 30, 2012 on charges of robbery and subjected to torture there.
As on September 11, 2015, the Court of Appeals rejected the appeal of Al. Tsverianov’s representative A. Sakunts on the decree to suspend the criminal proceedings, the aggrieved party was going to challenge the ruling before higher courts so far as the European Court of Human Rights
However, Al. Tsverianov’s whereabouts have been unknown for a long time; this makes it impossible to further protect his rights.
In response to the Organization’s signal, the Police took no steps to find him and only stated that Al. Tsverianov was not registered in RA and was also absent from his registered permanent residence in Georgia.
It should be added that on May 30, 2014, the General Jurisdiction Court of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts acquitted him by not establishing the charges of robbery under episode 16. The courts of appeals and cassation upheld the judgment of the Court.
