“They have torn apart, the three have torn one apart” slain advocate’s sister was removed from the session hall

The court hearing was overcrowded with many of the spectators standing. It worth noting that advocate Sharbatyan was killed on November 18, 2012 at “Mush” restaurant of Shahumyan village, Lori region.
A criminal case over the murder was lodged by Lori region Prosecutor’s office on the same day. Artak Samveli Veranyan, who is charged under Paragraph 7, Part 2 of Article 104, Part 4 of Article 258 of the RA Criminal Code, Samvel Ashoti Diloyan and Aren Samveli Veranyan are involved as defendants over the criminal case of Samvel Sharbatyan’s murder. The latter are charged under Paragraph 7, Part 2 of Article 104 and Paragraph 1, Part 3 of Article 258 of the RA Criminal Code.
The court trial was presided by Judge of Lori Region Court of Common Jurisdiction Narine Hovakimyan. Accused Artak Veranyan didn’t attend the court hearing.
The court hadn’t received any writtem explantion over the reasons of the defendant’s absence. Since the presence of accused Artak Veranyan at the court hearing was obligatory for the case proceedings, Judge Narine Hovakimyan put off the court trial.
After the court hearing, Hasmik Sharbatyan, the sister of victim advocate Sharbatyan, approached accused Samvel Diloyan and Aren Veranyan crying out loud and shouted, “They torn apart, the three torn one apart. They couldn’t recognize my brother’s face. Why don’t they publicly show my tortured brother? I’ll pluck your eyes out Diloyan.”
Court bailiffs removed the victim’s sister from the session hall.
The next court trial is scheduled for October 4.
