Proxy insulted the observer; chairperson of commission refused to record the incident
15:40, April 2, 2017 | News, Own news | Electoral RightsA proxy at polling station 07/53 in Yerevan obstructed the activities of observer Madlen Antonyan representing ‘Independent Observer’ Alliance, as she was trying to walk around the polling station area and make some phone calls as necessary. According to the observer, the proxy first expressed his discontent, then uttered offensive words and tried to persuade her with the help of an acquaintance to leave the polling station.
In response to the observer’s demand to draft a record on the incident, the chairperson of the commission said that he/she had not noticed anything and therefore might not draft any record.
