Court declared unlawful the Yerevan Municipality’s inaction

On April 19, 2017 the RA Administrative Court announced its judgment after examining the claim against Yerevan Municipality of Armine Tangiyan and her representative Tatevik Siradeghyan, lawyer at Yerevan Office of HCA Vanadzor.
The Court found unlawful the inaction of Yerevan Municipality that failed to make an administrative act based on A. Tangiyan’s application. And as for declaring unlawful non-initiation of administrative proceedings based on the application, the Court rejected the application.
Note that on June 2, 2016 A. Tangiyan filed an application with Mayor of Yerevan T. Margaryan, on initiating administrative proceedings and imposing sanctions on ‘Sport Pub’ operating on the first and ground floors in her building that offered outdoor services and operated after 12 pm without any relevant permission, but the Municipality of Yerevan showed inaction.
