A person signals: it’s impossible to hold classes at Tsilkar secondary school
17:04, January 25, 2017 | News, Own newsThe other day, Babken Sargsyan from Spitak town turned to Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor and said that the school in Tsilkar community, Aragatsotn marz (region), was in a very poor condition. During the recent 7 years since the current headmaster Arman Hovhannisyan took office, the school has never been renovated despite his assurances that the school was “under constant control of the regional governor (marzpet).”
The school heating problem has not been solved properly as well; it is provided through tin stoves the use of which is banned by the RA Health Minister’s Order. Nevertheless, according to B. Sargsyan, the required temperature is not ensured at school which makes it impossible to coordinate an efficient learning process and undermines the students’ health.
He also signaled about the problem to hraparak.am news website; the pictures posted there clearly show the poor condition of the school premises. However, the problems still remains unsolved.
Based on the person’s signal, on January 18, 2017, HCA Vanadzor applied to the RA Ministry of Education and Science to duly examine the raised issue and take measures to resolve it.
No reply has been received from the Ministry so far.
