Hearing on Ani Boshyan’s Case Adjourned
15:47, June 30, 2015 | News, Own newsOn June 26, 2015, the General Instance Court of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts of Yerevan, RA, presided by judge A. Mkrtchyan, resumed examination of the appeal filed by victim Ani Boshyan’s representative Artur Sakunts against the decree by RA SIS Special Investigator for High-Profile Cases, N. Barseghyan, on not initiating criminal prosecution and discontinuing the criminal proceedings.
Note that the previous court hearing on this case was adjourned for the investigating agency to provide the appellant and the Court with the case materials. At the court hearing, the appellant’s representative A. Sakunts said that he had received the materials above from N. Barseghyan responsible for the investigation at about 1 pm on the day before the court hearing, and he had no sufficient time to familiarize himself with the materials.
At the same time, it appeared that the Court had not received the materials yet. Considering the above, the Court adjourned the examination of the hearing till August 3, 2015, 3:30 pm.
