The family of Nubarashen penitentiary convict Armen Shamiryan reported to HCA Vanadzor that for already 2 months, the penitentiary administration refused to process the issues raised by the convict. Particularly, according to Armen Shamiryan, eight appeals he filed in November to meet penitentiary officer H. Alexanyan and express his discontent over a number of issues at the penitentiary, were rejected.
According to Armen Shamiryan, the Penitentiary administration rejected to submit his applications dated December 17, 2015 to the RA MoJ Penitentiary Department and RA Minister of Justice. The same held true for his applications dated December 18 to Artur Sakunts, Chairman of HCA Vanadzor, Group of Public Observers Conducting Public Monitoring of Penitentiary Institutions and Bodies of the RA MoJ and to the RA Minister of Justice.
The convict insisted that all of his recent applications remained within the penitentiary facilities.
