Examination of Appeal on Hovhannes Mosyan’s Case Adjourned

Avetisyan, resumed the examination of the appeal by Gohar and Hovhannes Mosyans. Particularly, by their appeal to the Court, they requested to annul the decree of S. Arakelyan, High-Profile Cases Investigator at RA SIS General Crimes Investigation Department dated July 31, 2015 on rejecting initiation of criminal proceedings and to send the case for preliminary investigation.
The hearing was attended by appellant G. Mosyan, her representative Tatevik Siradeghyan, A. Arakelyan, responsible for the proceedings and supervising prosecutor H. Petrosyan.
At the court hearing, T. Siradeghyan presented the appeal. She provided grounds on the failure to establish the facts of H. Mosyan’s unlawful detention under the illegal proceedings against him, his deprivation of the access to attorney, his voluntary appearance before the RA Police Yerevan City Department Nor-Nork Division during the preparation of the case materials by S. Arakelyan and failure to carry out an impartial, full and comprehensive investigation. S. Arakelyan responsible for the investigation and supervising prosecutor H. Petrosyan objected to the appeal and mentioned that it was baseless and should be dismissed.
G. Mosyan’s representative T. Siradeghyan motioned to adjourn the court hearing to submit some documents to the Court. The Court considered the motion well-grounded and adjourned the examination of the appeal till February 5, 2016, 10:30 am.
