“Option of resolving our own issues through Putin’s Russia to be selected” Artur Sakunts over the note of Security Council Secretary

RLP has decided to hold discussions regarding the new law effective in RF since January of this year. NA Rule of Law Party member Hovhannes Margaryan announced about it today by expressing his concerns regarding the new legislation, whereby, the RA citizens are deprived of their right to freely move throughout RF. Hovhannes Margaryan also informed that the National Security Council Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan has already sent a note to Russia requesting no changes to made regarding Armenia until the final accession to the Customs Union.
In this connection Chairman of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Artur Sakunts noted in a talk with Aravot.am: “Pursuant to the amendments of Russia’s migration legislation, the citizens of those countries, who leave for outgoing jobs to Russia to earn their living, through the new legislation an attempt is made to exert pressure against those countries so that those countries are included in the Customs Union and Putin’s program. And after the introduction of the legislation, two responses were recorded on the part of the RA authorities, one of them being the response from the RA NSC.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Russia will make an exception for the Republic of Armenia, since the latter is joining the Customs Union and the other was the response of the SC Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan, who had applied his Russian college with a request to make an exception for the RA citizens.”
By the words of Artur Sakunts, it is curious observe that the issue is not what should be done to make changes in our own country so that citizens are able to resolve their everyday issues in their own country, it may be a small business, change of economic monopoly or justice and etc. but instead they record their own inactivity through such approaches.
“And not only their own inactivity, but also irresponsibility and negligence towards their own citizens. They see the way out by resolving the issue of sending their citizens to slavery by promoting migration and whereby showing their inability, ignorance and irresponsibility.
And in fact, the functions to be implemented to change the situation in the country are not being done; instead, they try to resolve the issues through other countries.
Thus, they have selected the option of completely being in line with the Customs Union concept and resolve all of the issues though Putin’s Russia”.
