Surgeon’s Previous Position was restored

On August 22, 2011, the Lori Region Court of Common Jurisdiction, presided by Judge N. Avetisyan, satisfied the claim of surgeon Norik Melikyan against “#1 Vanadzor Hospital Complex” CJSC.
Pursuant to the court decision, the “#1 Vanadzor Hospital Complex” CJSC is obliged to reinstate Norik Melkonyan’s violated rights, restore his previous position, as well as exact average wages for the whole period of enforced outage in compensation.
It should be noted that the plaintiff and his representative Arayik Zalyan, lawyer of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor, claim that the supplementary contract N 193/6, signed for fixed period on 01. 06. 2010, should be considered as a labor contract with undefined period, while No 34 decree and the notification, approved by the chief of “#1 Vanadzor Hospital Complex” CJSC on 19.05.2011, should be abolished.
“#1 Vanadzor Hospital Complex” CJSC is obliged to reinstate Norik Melikyan’s previous position and exact the wages for the whole period of enforced outage.
