The SIS keeps providing abstract answers to specific questions; there is no progress in regard to the case of March 1
12:34, January 25, 2018 | News, Own news | March 1The RA Special Investigation Service has been providing the same answer to the inquiries by HCA Vanadzor in regard to the investigative actions taken to find out the circumstances of the death of the victims of March 1, 2008: “The criminal cases instituted in regard to the mass disorders of March 1 and the deaths of 10 individuals.”
As for the distinct questions raised by HCA Vanadzor on the preliminary investigation, although those questions presuppose specific answers, the SIS refuses to respond to them, considering them to be a pre-investigation secret.
It should be noted that in 2016 HCA Vanadzor proposed to interrogate Chief of the RA Police Vl. Gasparyan, who used to be the the head of the Military Police of the RA MoD and provided incompatible answers in the interview given to 1in.am in 2011 with regard to the events of March 1.
The SIS had merely attached the letter of HCA Vanadzor to the criminal case.
On December 28, 2017, with the inquiry addressed to the RA Special Investigation Service, we requested information on the investigative actions carried out during 2017 in regard to the 10 death cases of March 1, 2008. Information was requested in particular with regard to how many examinations, interrogations, investigative experiments and operative-investigative measured had been undertaken.
It is not clear why the quantity of the investigative actions performed was considered a secret, and the SIS keeps providing abstract responses to specific questions.
