PECULIARITIES OF POLICY APPLIED IN RELATION TO DRUG USERS IN ARMENIA. MAIN GAPS AND NEED FOR AMENDMENTS
The goal of the current study is to analyze the policy applied in relation to drug users in the Republic of Armenia, to assess the efficiency of the policy, to draw parallels with the principles put forth by international organizations and expertise of other countries, to evaluate the opportunities of introduction and application of international best practice in the Republic.
Drug addiction should be cured not punished
On November 26, 2014, HCA Vanadzor organized a workshop in Congress hotel which aimed at discussing issues of Drug Policy of Republic of Armenia. During the workshop HCAV presented the analytic report on 2010-2012 National Program of fight against Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking in RA from the perspective of protection of citizens with drug addiction problems as well as Report on Human Rights Situation at Narcological Facilties of the Republic of Armenia in 2013.
Don’t hinder accessibility of MRT program
