ECtHR received the complaint on the case of serviceman Hayk Khachatryan who died of chickenpox
Movses Khachatryan, successor of serviceman Hayk Khachatryan who died of chickenpox on December 30, 2011, received a letter from the European Court of Human Rights dated May 17, 2016 confirming the receipt of the complaint submitted to the Court with the help of his representative lawyer Mushegh Shushanyan.

Court hearing on servicemen who died of chickenpox postponed
On May 12, 2015, the RA Criminal Court of Appeal, presided by Judge H. Ter-Adamyan, proceeded with the examination of victims successor Movses Khachatryan’s appeal against the ruling by the first instance court of general jurisdiction of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan city RA to discontinue criminal proceedings and suspend the criminal prosecution against the defendants on the case of military serviceman Hayk Khachatryan who died of chickenpox.
Experts questioned on the case of serviceman Hayk Khachatryan deceased of chickenpox
On October 21, 2014, the trial on the case of serviceman Hayk Khachatryan deceased of chickenpox proceeded at the General Jurisdiction Court of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan, presided by judge V. Grigoryan. Note that charges were brought against Mikayel Mikayelyan, Head of the RA Central Clinical Military Hospital and Minas Mkrtchyan, Head of the Neurological Department of the Hospital, for their negligence in their professional services, resulting in severe damage, namely the death of Hayk Khachatryan.
