We demand that the Police at least provide the families of the apprehended persons with information on their whereabouts
18:39, July 21, 2016 | Announcements, OwnOn July 21, at dawn, a total of 136 persons were apprehended to police divisions from Khorenatsi Street in Yerevan. This information was provided by the press service of the Police.
According to a press service of the Police, some of the apprehended persons were released and others are still detained at police divisions in a status of the apprehended.
The father of apprehended Taron Harutyunyan consulted HCA Vanadzor to receive information on the whereabouts of his son. The Organization succeeded in obtaining such information and imparted it to T. Harutyunyan’s family.
However, the families of most of the apprehended persons have no information on their whereabouts and status.
We require that the police at least provide the families of the apprehended persons with information on their whereabouts.
