On November 9-10 it was planned to organize a conference on “Human Rights after “Rose Revolution” but that was under danger due to the current regime. The representatives from human rights organizations of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Poland, USA and Russia were invited to the conference planned by the organization “Ex Political Prisoners of Georgia” (the head of the organization is the ex political prisoner Nana Kakabadze).
The participants who had arrived in Tbilisi did not know whether or not the conference would be held. Today Nana Kakabadze announced that the conference would take place in Metekhi Sheraton Hotel.
The Embassy of the USA to Georgia also dealt with the organization of the conference.
