Diseased servicemen Hayk Movsisyan’s mother is not being recognized as the victim’s legal successor

It is worth noting that on July 22, 2011 Hayk Movsisyan was moved to the RA “Sovetashen” Penitentiary, while on September 10 to NKR “Shushi” Penitentiary. On November 29 of the same year, Hayk Movsisyan was charged under article on evasion from military duty for simulation. Through November 20, 2012 verdict Hayk Movsisyan was found guilty and sentenced to a 3-year incarceration. 7 days after the promulgation of the verdict Hayk Movsisyan was found dead in the NKR Investigative isolation ward.
Currently, H. Movsisyan’s mother Heghine Petrosyan is struggling to find the perpetrators of her son’s death. However, the Court does not recognize Heghine Petrosyan as the victim’s legal successor and no activities directed at the revelation of H. Movsisyan’s death circumstances are underway. With the help of her representatives Artur Sakunts and Arayik Zalyan H. Petrosyan has repeatedly sent motions and applications to various RA judicial instances with a request to recognize her as the victim’s legal successor, however, the applications were either declined or sent to other instances, where refusals were also received.
Currently, a motion with the same request was sent to the RA Special Investigative Service investigator M. Babayan, in the meantime, an application was sent to the RA General Prosecutor G. Kostanyan with a request to oblige the RA Special Investigative Service investigator M. Babayan to recognize Hayk Movsisyan as a victim and his mother Heghine Petrosyan as the victim’s legal successor.
