Recommendation of steps directed at the revelation of March 1 cases addressed to the RA Special Investigative Service Chief Vahram Shahinyan

5 years have passed since March 1, 2008 notorious cases, but the death circumstances of none of the 10 victims have been revealed, none of the perpetrators of their murder has been identified and punished.
The state structures, who were in charge of revealing the death circumstances of innocent victims, have already forgotten March 1 and that day’s tragic events.
Not renouncing its mission to protect human rights in Armenia against any encroachments, Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor office by the initiative of Organization’s Chairman Artur Sakunts, once again attempts to draw the attention of the current government to the revelation of perpetrators accused in the death of the victims and subjecting them to liability.
Over the aforementioned issue Chairman of HCA Vanadzor Artur Sakunts has sent a note to RA Special Investigative Service Chief Vahram Shahinyan. A number of steps are singled out in the letter, whereby, it will be possible to identify the perpetrators.
